These Terms explain the basic rules for using Matthew Bible AI, a free Christian Bible study app developed by Matthew Shiloh. By using the service, you agree to these Terms.

Free service and availability

Matthew Bible AI is currently provided free of charge as a charitable project. We may change, pause, or discontinue features, and we do not guarantee that the service will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free.

Your responsibility and accounts

Use the service lawfully and respectfully. You are responsible for activity under your account, for keeping your sign-in information secure, and for checking that saved or shared content is appropriate for your needs. Do not use Matthew to abuse, harass, interfere with, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service or another person’s data.

AI and Bible study limitations

AI-generated explanations may be incomplete or mistaken. Check references and interpretations against Scripture and use your own careful judgment. Matthew Bible AI is a study aid, not a pastor, church authority, or a substitute for reading the Bible and seeking wise counsel.

Nothing in the service is professional medical, legal, financial, mental-health, or emergency advice. For those needs, consult a qualified professional or appropriate emergency service.

Content and licensed Bible text

You keep responsibility for content you submit. The app and its original interface, branding, and materials belong to their respective owners. NIV Scripture text is provided through a licensed Bible-content provider and remains subject to its copyright and usage requirements. Do not copy, redistribute, or use licensed Bible text outside the permissions provided with the service.

Feedback

If you choose to provide feedback or suggestions to us, we may use them freely without restriction or compensation to improve the service.

Account termination

We may suspend or terminate access when an account is used to misuse the service, violate these Terms, or create risk for other users or providers.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms as the app changes. The effective date above will change when an update is made. If you keep using the service after an update, that means you accept the revised Terms.
